Foliophoto: Winter

Friends, sorry for the silence. Without getting into the details Ian and I had to rush to Long Island late Saturday night for a family emergency. Things are turning out to be in better shape today and we got back late last night. Ever have real life stuff get in the way of your blogs? Well, it just goes to show that yes, I am a real person, and no my life is not perfect. Thanks for being patient while bedsidesign stayed a bit stagnant. It's good to be back home in snowy Syracuse. I'm thrilled to start back up with my blogging schedule with the foliophoto project.

Prompt: winter

Subject: Syracuse, NY: this large tree is right outside our living room window. At night the spotlights hit the branches and the snow looks like it's glowing. In the daytime [when this picture was captured] the snow glistens.

Want to join up? Here’s the dealio on #foliophoto: Sandra & I will brainstorm a topic each week to interpret through photos [we are trying to build up our skills, portfolios, and original content that we create for our blogs] and you will be able to participate if you would like! We’ve started a flickr group called Foliophoto (public/invite only for now – email me for access or mention it in the comments) and instagram hashtag #foliophoto. You don’t have to be a blogger to participate – come one come all!

Next week's prompt? Broken

P.S. Make sure you check out the Raincoast Cottage for Sandra's interpretation of winter [it is GORGEOUS] and check out the others participating!
