foliophoto: window

Today's a special day. Why? Well - it's Ian's birthday! Since we both have to work we're planning on celebrating this weekend. It's also the anniversary of our engagement - cannot believe that was three years ago. prompt: window

subject: One of our favorite areas in Syracuse is Wescott. If you're from 'Cuse you'll know it because of the prime time local restaurants. If you're not from around these parts it's an eclectic mix of students, locals, and can sometimes be referred to as the hipster part. We aren't anti or pro hipster, but we definitely like the vibe in this little nook in the city. We've made it a weekly habit to go to brunch today on Saturday mornings - or at least grab some coffee. Since Ian and I work opposite schedules this is typically the first time we get to really talk during the week. Every week we park in the same lot next to this house. I'm usually a fan of a more groomed curb presence but I am enchanted by this house. The climbing ivy, the overgrown bushes, and staggered windows just draw me in. It's almost as if each window has its own story to tell.
